Snappers and West Bend Mutual Team Up To Help Stateline United Way

The Beloit Snappers are pleased to announce their new partnership with West Bend Mutual Insurance and the Stateline United Way. For every home run a Snappers player hits at Pohlman Field during the 2007 season, West Bend Mutual and the Snappers will donate $50 to the Stateline United Way. Fans can check the progress of the donations on both the Snappers' website and the United Way big board at Pohlman Field.

Stateline United Way improves the quality of life in the Greater Beloit Area by providing over 48,000 units of service a year. The Stateline United Way helps support some of the following agencies:

- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth, and Jefferson Counties

- Girl Scouts of Badger Council

- Glacier's Edge Boy Scout Council

- Lutheran Social Services

- Merrill Community Center, Inc.

- Salvation Army

- Stateline Boys and Girls Club

- Stateline Family YMCA

- Stateline Literacy Council

- And many more!

"We are very excited to join forces with West Bend Mutual to help the Stateline United Way," said Snappers' General Manager Jeff Vohs. "The service that the United Way provides is key in keeping the Greater Beloit area what it is today and what it will be in the future."
