Lake Buena Vista, Fla.- The Tennessee Smokies banged out a season high 17 hits and won the rubber match of a three game series against Orlando 9-1. Bucky Jacobsen had four hits including a solo home run and John Nelson added three hits for Tennessee. Starter Jeremy Cummings worked 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win.
The Smokies continue their 12-game road trip with a five game series in Jacksonville beginning Monday night.
