Knoxville Smokies News Release
JACKSON, TN - Friday's game between the Tennessee Smokies and Jackson Generals was postponed due to inclement weather. Tennessee and Jackson will play a doubleheader on Saturday. The first game is set to start at 5:05 p.m. ET and the second game will follow after the conclusion of game one.
Keegan Thompson (1-1, 7.71 ERA) is projected to start on the mound for the Smokies in game one and Duncan Robinson (5-1, 3.10 ERA) is slated for the second game. The Smokies will need to win both games in order to take the four-game series from the Generals. Jackson took game one on Wednesday, but the Smokies responded with a 16-3 victory on Thursday. Trent Giambrone led Tennessee with three home runs and nine RBIs in the win.
