
Slinger Leads the Worcester Bravehearts to 2-1 win over Titans

An outstanding effort by Kyle Slinger spurred the Worcester Bravehearts (21-15) to a 2-1 win over the Torrington Titans (19-18) on Friday at Fitton Field.
Slinger's eight strikeouts were enough to push the Worcester Bravehearts past the Torrington Titans. Slinger allowed one earned run, two hits and no walks over eight innings.
A bright spot for the Torrington Titans in the defeat was Connor Landers, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
Landers (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
