
Skyhawks outfielder Maikel Jova reaches 100th hit of season

In Tuesday night's game against New Hampshire at Skylands Park, Skyhawks outfielder Maikel Jova hit a two run-home run in the bottom of the first; it was his 100th hit of the season. Jova is currently batting .322 through 75 games in his first season with the Skyhawks. The 28-year-old veteran played for the Yuma Scorpions of the Golden League in 2008. Jova leads the Can-Am league with 101 hits and 60 RBI's. He also has 22 doubles, one triple, and four home runs this season.
