The Sussex Skyhawks grabbed an early 1-0 lead but the American Defenders stormed back with four runs in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth to take a 7-1 advantage and would cruise from there to an 8-1 win. 3B Chris Kelly led the New Hampshire offense going 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI. American Defenders CF Edward Ovalle chipped in with a 2-for-5 game including a fifth inning three-run home run. New Hampshire starting pitcher Nick Asselin won his ninth game of the season. Asselin went seven innings allowing one earned run on eight hits with eight strikeouts. DH Jorge Moreno and RF Maikel Jova each had two hits for the Skyhawks.
