
Skyforce Acquires Anderson

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Dec. 1, 2011) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that that the team has acquired guard Ryan Anderson from the available player pool. He is expected to be in uniform tomorrow night as the Skyforce hosts the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 7 p.m. in a game that will air live on NBA TV. The active roster now stands at 12 players.
Anderson was waived by the Texas Legends in training camp after being selected in the sixth round (91st overall) of the 2011 NBA Development League Draft. He averaged 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in four seasons (122 games) at the University of Nebraska. The 6-4, 195-pound guard was named to the Big 12 All-Underrated Team by the media after averaging 11.3 points and 5.3 rebounds as a senior in 2009-10.
