SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they've acquired Rodney Pryor from the available player pool. Ishmael Hollis was waived in completing the transaction.

Pryor, a 6-5, 200-pound forward out of Georgetown went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft after appearing in 32 games (32 starts) as a senior for the Hoyas during the 2016-17 season. In his lone season at Georgetown, Pryor averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 41.2 percent from three-point range, earning All-Big East Honorable Mention.

Before transferring to Georgetown to complete his collegiate career, Pryor spent two seasons at Robert Morris, where he appeared in 64 games (52 starts) and averaged 16.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Immediately out of high school, Pryor spent a redshirt and his freshman season playing for Cloud County Community College.

Pryor spent the first part of the 2017-18 season with Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol of the Turkish Basketball League before being claimed by the Skyforce. While there, he appeared in five games (two starts) and averaged 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in just over 16 minutes per game.

Pryor will not travel with the team to Austin as they take on the Spurs on Tuesday, November 14, but will have his first opportunity to suit up for the Skyforce during the team's back-to-back home stand this weekend. Sioux Falls is set to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday, November 17 and again on Saturday, November 18.
