CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky have waived Sequoia Holmes and Destiny Williams. The two forwards signed as free agents in April and appeared in three preseason games with the Sky.
Williams averaged 2.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game and Holmes averaged 5.0 points and 1.0 rebound per game throughout the preseason.
The Sky's home opener against Eastern Conference rival Indiana Fever will take place at the Allstate Arena on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. CT. The game will broadcast on The U Too.
