Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox fell to the Oklahoma Redhawks, 19-10, at Sky Sox Stadium Wednesday night. Sox starting pitcher Travis Driskill went 7.1 innings giving up 17 hits, 10 runs (9 earned), walking 1 and striking out 4. The Sky Sox led the whole game up until the 8th innning when the Redhawks scored 8 runs to lead 15-10. Sox standouts Clint Barmes, Brad Hawpe, and Anthony Sanders all hit home runs, while Barmes and Sanders picked up 2 RBI, while Hawpe acquired 3 RBI. Thursday afternoon at 12:35 the Sox and 'Redhawks square off for the final game of their 4-game series. Brian Tollberg will toe the rubber for the Sox opposed by Rick Helling of the Redhawks.
