Shane Nance's three-base throwing error on Ryan Church's bunt allowed Valentino Pascucci to score all the way from first in the bottom of the tenth inning Thursday giving Edmonton a 4-3 win and a three games to one series victory. Edmonton won a ten-inning game on Monday when Greg Aquino walked four straight Trappers with two outs to force in two runs. In the tenth Thursday Pascucci walked to start the frame. Church bunted back towards the mound. Nance had a play at second base but after looking to second threw the ball over Steve Neal's head into the right field corner allowing the winning run to score.

Tucson claimed its first lead in the top of the seventh. Steve Neal doubled to start the frame. Craig Ansman followed with a double scoring Neal to tie the game at 2 and ending the afternoon of Karp. Keoni DeRenne later singled against reliever Rob Stanifer to score Ansman and give the Sidewinders a 3-2 lead.

Edmonton evened the game at 3 in the bottom of the eighth against Jon Cannon. Ron Calloway doubled to start the inning and would score on a one out single by pinch hitter Randy Knorr.
