
Sky Set Several Franchise, Personal Highs Against Wings In 104-89 Victory In Dallas

The Chicago Sky defeated the Dallas Wings 104-89, the Sky's second straight victory, in Dallas on Friday, Aug. 4. With the win, the Sky moved to 11-15 on the season, 8-5 against the Western Conference and 6-6 on the road. The victory marks the Sky's first win streak since the stretch from June 30 to July 2, where the Sky won three straight games (two against Los Angeles and one against Indiana)
The Sky saw a number of career and franchise highs in tonight's game, with Alanna Smith recording a career-high 20 points. Smith was just one of three Sky starters with 20+ points, as Kahleah Copper dropped 25 points and Courtney Williams poured in 25 points, six rebounds and six assists.
The Wings also saw a record-breaking performance, with Natasha Howard recording her first career triple-double (28 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists). Howard's triple-double is the eighth in the WNBA this season and the 27th in league history. Howard's previous season high for assists in a game was four and her previous career high was six; Howard had 11 assists in tonight's game. Satou Sabally added 18 points for the Wings.
