Skeeters Individual Tickets on Sale March 23, Promotional Schedule Announced

SUGAR LAND, TX - Tickets for the upcoming 2015 Sugar Land Skeeters season will go on sale Monday, March 23 at Constellation Field and online at SugarLandSkeeters.com. The Skeeters begin the 2015 Atlantic League season at home on Thursday, April 23.

"We can't wait to get fans back into the ballpark for Skeeters baseball," said Chris Jones, General Manager of the Sugar Land Skeeters. "Our main focus this season is our fans. We are excited to show them what #SaLute2Fans is all about."

Skeeters 2015 Promotional Schedule

The highly-anticipated 2015 Skeeters promotional schedule featuring FANtastic theme nights, FANcentric giveaways and more has been released today. The theme for the 2015 season is #SaLute2Fans with the promotional schedule focusing on the opportunity for fans to engage and participate in games, giveaways and contests.

The 2015 season kicks off with an Opening Weekend Extravaganza April 23-26. Fireworks will light up the night sky after the games on Thursday, April 23 and Friday April 24. The first 2,000 fans in the gates on Saturday, April 25 will receive a Skeeters hat courtesy of MemberSource Credit Union and the team will host the first Jersey Auction of the season on Strike Out Autism day benefitting Hope for Three on Sunday, April 26.

Many fan-favorite promotions are being brought back for the 2015 season including Pink in the Park (May 15), Faith and Family night (September 19) and Bark in the Park (June 27). The Remote Dig (May 31) and Diamond Dig (July 26) will allow fans a chance to dig for a great prize in the infield dirt after the game.

There are also plenty of promotions geared toward the younger Skeeters fans. The Skeeters reading program, which visited over 60 schools this offseason, provided 70,000 students with a chance to receive two free tickets by reading four books. Those students who learned how they can become a super student with the help of team mascot Swatson, can use the tickets they earned for games on May 17 (Princess and Pirates Night), May 27 (Christmas in July in May), May 31 (Cajun Night) and June 7 (Disney Day).

Once school is out for the summer, the Skeeters will host Super Splash Day on July 23. Super Splash day allows families and youth camps the opportunity to enjoy a day game (11:05 am) while participating in in-game water balloon fights, get sprayed down with hoses and other water games. The Skeeters have also partnered up with 38 local little leagues for spirit/fundraising nights that will include team parades on the field before the game among other fun activities for the youth players.

Margarita Mondays, featuring discounted Margaritas, have been kicked up a notch this season with the introduction of the Skeeters' own signature drink, the Skeeterita. #Winning Wednesdays will also return with even more social media fan interaction during the game and all fans receiving a ticket to a future game if the Skeeters don't win that night.

Weekly promotions Thirsty Thursdays, Fireworks Fridays and Sunday Fundays make a return this season. Thirsty Thursdays feature discounted beverages with Fridays including incredible postgame fireworks displays and Sunday Fundays have something for everyone in the family including pregame catch on the field and player autograph session.

New to this season's weekly promotions is Two-Steppin' Tuesdays. Every Tuesday, the Skeeters will have Texas-sized discounts while fans enjoy the spirit of the Houston rodeo every Tuesday night at Constellation Field.
