Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder coach Jarrod Skalde and Cole Ruwe have been suspended by the International Hockey League for their actions in Thursday's game against Quad City at Moline.
Skalde was handed a two-game suspension, while Ruwe was given a one-game penalty. Both will miss tonight's 7:05 game at Quad City. Skalde also will sit out Friday's game at Flint. Dave Bailey will coach the team in Skalde's absence.
Ruwe's suspension was the result of a major boarding penalty and game misconduct. Skalde's suspension was because of an accumulation of four game misconducts during the season.
