Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release

Bowling Green, KY - With just 46 days until first pitch, the Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, announced that tickets for all 2010 Hot Rods games are going on sale on Saturday, March 13, at 12 PM. Tickets will be available at the Hot Rods' ticket office at Bowling Green Ballpark, online at www.bghotrods.com, and by calling 270.901.2121.

To celebrate the start of single-game ticket sales, the Hot Rods are holding Fan Fest from 12-5 PM at the ballpark on March 13. The event, which will feature several baseball-themed activities, is highlighted by an American Red Cross Blood Drive being held inside the team's Stadium Club.

"The start of single-game ticket sales is always an exciting day each spring," said Hot Rods General Manager and CEO Brad Taylor. "But with the recent events in Haiti and the American Red Cross' ongoing need for blood, this is a great way for the Hot Rods and our fans to have some fun while making a difference in the lives of others."

Hot Rods Fan Fest begins at 12 PM when tickets to all Hot Rods home games are made available. Fans will be able to check out new Hot Rods gear in The Body Shop, test their arm with the Lawless Wiesemann Speed Pitch, and have the chance to win one of several Hot Rods door prizes. Hot Rods mascot Axle is also going to be there, spreading Hot Rods baseball fever.

The American Red Cross will also begin the blood drive at noon, continuing through 5 PM in the Hot Rods' Stadium Club. The team is urging all willing and able fans to make a donation to the Red Cross' efforts. Fans that do so will receive a 20% discount on their purchases in the Hot Rods' team store.

Ticket prices remain unchanged for the 2010 season. All Box Seats are $10 while a select number of Service One Credit Union Green Seats (lawn seating) will be available for just $5. Fans can purchase their tickets at the ballpark during the team's event, by calling 270.901.2121, or by visiting www.bghotrods.com. Beginning Monday, March 15, fans can purchase tickets in-person or by phone from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Online sales will continue to be available 24-hours-a-day.
