
Single Game Tickets now on sale as Bears gear up for 2004-05

HERSHEY â The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that single-game tickets are now on sale to the general public for all 2004-05 home games at GIANT Center. The American Hockey League's most senior franchise will open up the home portion of the schedule with the club's 67th AHL home opener on Saturday, October 16.
Returning to HERSHEY as part of Opening Night festivities is SpongeBob Squarepants. The wildly popular Nickelodeon character will appear at GIANT Center during the game with the Norfolk Admirals courtesy of Comcast from 6-9 PM.
The BEARS also announced today the addition of two promotional nights during the 2004-05 campaign. Saturday, October 30 is Labatt Blue Poster Schedule Night at GIANT Center when HERSHEY takes on their longtime rival, the Rochester Americans, at 7:00 p.m. A free HERSHEY BEARS Poster Schedule will be handed out to the first 4,000 fans through the gates courtesy of Labatt Blue.
Also announced today is an addition to the already scheduled Throwback night on Sunday, March 13. The BEARS will sport jerseys from the 1968-69 season that night against the Norfolk Admirals on the ice, and television's Dr. Lori will appear on the concourse at GIANT Center. Dr. Lori appears on CBS 3 TV's "Trash or Treasure" in Philadelphia and also stars on Comcast CN8 TV's "Real Life" and "Your Morning" programs. She also has a feature column locally in the Lancaster New Era newspaper. She will be on hand to review antiques and evaluate the value of any artifact that fans bring to the game that night.
Single-game tickets may be purchased by phone at (717) 534-3911 or in person at the GIANT Center box office. The BEARS open the 2004-05 season on Friday, October 15 at Norfolk before opening the home schedule the following night on Saturday, October 16.
