Seattle Thunderbirds News Release

Kent, December 3, 2008 - The Seattle Thunderbirds are excited to announce single game tickets for games from January 4 to the end of the season at the ShoWare Center are now on sale.

Single game tickets are only on sale online until Tuesday, December 16. T-Birds fans can go to the T-Birds website,

www.seattl ethunderbirds.com and click on the Single Game Tickets link under the Tickets Menu. Thunderbirds tickets are also available at www.showarec enter.com . After December 16 single game tickets will remain on sale online but it is anticipated the ShoWare Center box office will be also open. The team will also take phone orders after December 16.

Single game ticket prices will remain the same with the move to the ShoWare Center. Single game tickets are $22. Single game family zone tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for children 12-years-old and under. There may be a limited number of Club Seats available for single game purchase. Those tickets will be priced at $40 and will include full access to the Club Lounge. For each ticket purchased there will be a $3 dollar convenience fee unless the tickets are purchased at the ShoWare Center Box Office. "We believe purchasing single game tickets online will be a cost effective, efficient and a very convenient option for fans," said T-Birds Director of Ticket Operations, Rick Ronish. "We will encourage our fans to order online as the ShoWare ticketing system gives our fans the option of ordering the seats they want, at their leisure, and the ability to print their tickets at home at no additional cost and have them in hand immediately."

There are three options for receiving tickets purchased online. Fans that want to pick up their tickets at Will Call or have the tickets mailed to them will be charged $5 per order to do this. Fans that print their tickets at home will be able to do so without a charge of any kind beyond the standard $3 convenience fee.

Tickets can also be purchased two other ways: at the ShoWare Center box office the day of the game or by phone. There are no extra charges for tickets purchased at the ShoWare Center box office. For phone ticket orders there will be a $3 convenience fee per ticket, a $5 service charge per order and a $5 charge to mail the tickets or have them left at Will Call. The ShoWare Box Office will be open for business in mid-December upon completion of construction.

"The online option is going to be great as our fans will not be subjected to any shipping, handling, order or print fees if they so choose. We will offer these other services but it will ultimately be the decision of the ticket purchaser," continued Ronish.

One of the benefits of the ShoWare ticketing system is the fans ability to pick a specific seat they would like to sit in to watch the game. The ShoWare system does not pick the best available seat but rather gives the online user the opportunity to select the seat they want.

"ShoWare follows the philosophy that the patron is not only purchasing tickets to an event, they are purchasing an experience, and this experience starts with selecting the perfect seats. We want every T-Bird fan to have a great experience at each and every game," said Bruno Boehi, CEO of ShoWare by VisionOne.

Single game tickets for games on December 27, 28, 30 and January 3 will go on sale on the T-Birds website on December 12 at 9 a.m. It is anticipated that the location of these four games will be announced prior to the tickets going on sale.

T-Birds season tickets are also currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T- Birds office at 253-239-7825.

The T-Birds next game is Friday, December 5, at the Tri-City Americans at 7:05 p.m. at the Toyota Center. They then travel to Portland to take on the Winter Hawks at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 6 at Memorial Coliseum. They are back home at KeyArena on Sunday, December 7, at 5:05 p.m. to face the Calgary Hitmen.
