Silvertips netminder Michael Wall was very solid to lead the Everett Silvertips to a 2-2 tie against the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday night at the Everett Events Center. With the tie, Everett moves their record to 3-2-2-1.Tyler Dietrich and Curtis Billsten each tallied goals while Brady Calla added an assist in the tie. Michael Wall made 31 saves on 33 Rockets shots in the hockey game to earn 1st star honors.
The Rockets outshot the Silvertips 33-12 in the hockey game. Kelowna went 1 for 7 on the power play and Everett went 0 for 4 on the extra man advantage. The Silvertips will be back in action on Friday night when they travel to Portland, Oregon to face off against the Portland Winter Hawks. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.
