Silvertips rally to win, 3-2

The Everett Silvertips ended their weekend with a come from behind victory over the Tri-City Americans at the Three Rivers Coliseum in Tri-Cities, WA.

Scoring tonight for Everett were Cody Thoring with his second goal in as many games, Brady Calla with an unassisted goal in the third and Karel Hromas tallying the winning shot. Adding assists for the Silvertips were Jovan Matic, Brennan Zasitko and Barry Horman. Between the pipes for the team was rookie goaltender Leland Irving. Irving stopped 32 of 34 shots to win his first ever WHL game.

On the power play neither team converted with Everett having 7 chances and Tri-Cities 5. During the game the Silvertips had 26 shots on goal while Tri-Cities fired 34.

The Silvertips are back on the ice again on Wednesday October 13, 2004 at the Everett Events Center when they will face off against the 2004 Memorial Cup Champions, the Kelowna Rockets. The puck will drop at 7:05pm. Tickets are still available by calling 425-252-5100.
