Everett Silvertips News Release
Tonight at the Everett Events Center in Everett, WA the Silvertips fight to hang on to a 2-2 tie in overtime against the Hurricanes.
After going scoreless through the first period, Mark Kress started the Silvertips' scoring early in the second. Tallying the only other Everett goal was defenseman Cody Thoring. Making assists in the scoring were Brady Calla with two and Torrie Wheat and Jeremy Creurer with one a piece. Making an outstanding appearance tonight between the pipes, Mike Wall stopped 27 of 29 shots.
For the Hurricanes, Kris Versteeg and Jonathan Filewich both scored unassisted goals. Goalie Scott Bolland saved 12 out of 14 Everett shots.
The Silvertips are back in action Sunday, October 10th in Tri-Cities against the Tri-City Americans. Game time is set for 5:05pm.
