Silvertips Open Holiday Inn Preseason Classic at XFINITY Arena, Pre-Season Schedule on September 2

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) announced today their 2016-17 Pre-Season Schedule, and 13th annual Holiday Inn Preseason Classic tournament at XFINITY Arena. The Silvertips, who will open on Friday, Sept. 2 hosting the U.S. Division rival Seattle Thunderbirds, will play seven pre-season games and skate on home ice three times during the tournament (four at home overall).
Returning to XFINITY Arena as a host for all five U.S. Division teams, the Holiday Inn Preseason Classic will also welcome the Vancouver Giants and Victoria Royals, last season's winner of the Scotty Munro Trophy for best overall WHL regular season record. The tournament, scheduled for Friday through Sunday, Sept. 2-4, will culminate each day with a Silvertips 7:00 p.m. home game.
Face-off for games each day at the Holiday Inn Preseason Classic are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Ticket packages for the Holiday Inn Preseason Classic and all Silvertips preseason home games will be announced soon and available for purchase on www.everettsilvertips.com. Seating designation for all preseason games at XFINITY Arena is offered on a general admission basis.

2016-17 SCHEDULE, TICKET INFORMATION
The Silvertips will announce their 2016-17 home opener on Thursday and full regular season schedule soon, offering full season tickets, 22-game, and 14-game plans for as little as $200 total per seat. Deposits for $50 secure a seat by visiting the Silvertips deposit portal.
