
Siegfried named Coach of the Year

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock's Head Coach Chris Siegfried was named the af2's Head Coach of the Year for the 2006 season as announced by the af2 League Office today.
Siegfried, in his fifth season of coaching, became the af2's all-time winningest coach earlier this season, breaking Kevin Guy's record of 52 career wins. To date, Siegfried has 55 wins.
"Coach Siegfried deserves the credit for our phenomenal success this season," General Manager of the Spokane Shock Adam Nebeker said. "He's done an unbelievable job of putting this team together and guiding them to such a fantastic record. We're elated that the league has taken notice of his accomplishments."
This Saturday Siegfried and the Spokane Shock will take on the Arkansas Twisters for the National Conference Championship. The winner of this game will play in the Arena Cup on August 26th in San Juan Puerto Rico for the League Championship.
Tickets are still available for this Saturday's 7 PM kick-off by calling 325 SEAT. Ticket prices range from $6-$50.
