Memphis, Tenn. - Anthony Reyes could not find any run support in Memphis as Tucson topped the Redbirds 7-1 at AutoZone Park Friday night in front of 11,701 fans.

Reyes scattered three hits over seven innings but allowed the Sidewinders a run in the fifth inning when Augie Ojeda singled to right field to score Brian Barden. Reyes fanned four and issued no walks in his first loss with Memphis and ninth straight this season.

Tucson rallied for six runs off the Memphis bullpen in the top of the ninth inning, sending 10 men to the plate. Dave Krynzel led off the inning with a solo home run before Mark Johnson crushed a three-run homer to right field later in the inning. Closer Chad Harville capped the rally with a run scoring single to right field. Ojeda finished the night with a pair of hits while nine Sidewinders collected hits in the game.

John Rodriguez hit his third home run of the season in the bottom of the ninth to score the Redbirds lone run of the game. Memphis had just five hits in the game.

The 'Birds will welcome Las Vegas to AutoZone Park for four games starting tomorrow. Blake Hawksworth will be on the slab for Memphis and the 51s will send lefty Eric Stults to the hill. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m.
