(ALLEN, TEXAS) The Dallas Sidekicks are currently in the offseason but are slowly preparing for the Major Arena Soccer League 2019-2020 season which will begin in the Fall. We caught up with Dallas Sidekicks defender TJ Nelson to discuss how he's been spending his time since we last saw him.
"I've been on the grind all summer getting my Smooky Nelson mojo back. Other than that I've been hanging with family and friends and enjoying my time off," Nelson said.
Nelson has been undergoing rehabilitation on a knee injury he sustained last season. When asked about it, Nelson replied, "Rehab has been a slow and steady process because we want to make sure we get it right. It's frustrating at times because I want to push harder. But the physical therapist knows what's best and everything is on schedule."
