
Sidekicks Sign Felipe Dos Santos Silva

The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Felipe Dos Santos Silva for the 2021-2022 season.
Silva was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on February 22, 1995. He's loved the game of soccer ever since he was a kid and knew it was something he wanted to do professionally. After putting in the hard work he signed for his first professional futsal team ADC Mercedes Benz. Since then, Dos Santos Silva has played for several top futsal clubs such as Clube São João, Associação Atlética Banco do Brasil, and Sao Paulo FC.
Dos Santos Silva joined the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) in 2018 where he signed for the St. Louis Ambush. While playing for the Ambush, Dos Santos Silva scored 11 goals and contributed 13 assists.
Coach Pablo comments on Dos Santos Silva, "I personally played with Felipe for two years. I know what he can bring to our team. His commitment, defensive mindset and willingness to put the team first makes him a great fit for the culture I am trying to build."
In preparation for the upcoming season, Dos Santos Silva has been on a consistent training regime while also studying film from previous seasons. Dos Santos Silva will be arriving to Dallas ready to make a strong impact within the team and the community.
"Felipe is a true professional, hard worker and plays with passion," Coach Pablo states. "I am excited to coach him because I believe he will play an important role in the growth of this team especially from the defensive side of the field."
