Dallas Sidekicks News Release
The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the re-signing of Brazilian midfielder DiegoÃÂ BuratoÃÂ forÃÂ the upcoming 2021-2022 season.ÃÂ He is originally fromÃÂ Criciúma, Brazil and this will beÃÂ Burato'sÃÂ third season with the Dallas Sidekicks.ÃÂ Previously,ÃÂ BuratoÃÂ played futsal at the top level in ItalyÃÂ for the teamsÃÂ Montesilvano, Pescara, and Pesaro.ÃÂ
Outside of the Sidekicks,ÃÂ BuratoÃÂ is a youth futsal coach and loves to watch futsal games in his free time.ÃÂ He is very involved in the Dallas community, mentoring childrenÃÂ in Sidekicks camps and clinics.ÃÂ
To prepare for the upcoming season,ÃÂ BuratoÃÂ is trainingÃÂ every dayÃÂ at the gym and watchingÃÂ previous games to help improve his indoor soccer skills.ÃÂ
When asked about his upcoming goals this season,ÃÂ BuratoÃÂ said, "My personal goal is to play a final championship game, we know that we are starting a new chapter, new philosophy but nothing is impossible."ÃÂ
Coach Pablo comments onÃÂ Burato, "He knowsÃÂ what it takes to be a championÃÂ and is a technical player that has a lot of experience in a professional futsal environment.ÃÂ I truly believe he can be as successful in indoor as he was in futsal."
