
Harrisburg Heat Sign James Vaughan

The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce that they have signed midfielder/defender James Vaughan.ÃÂ Per team and league policies, financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed.
Vaughan, a citizen of England, has played outdoor soccer for Eastbourne Borough in England, as well as AFC Ann Arbor in the United States.ÃÂ Vaughan is currently a starting midfielder for Detroit City FC, who are in first place in the NISA professional outdoor soccer league. Vaughan has signed a five-year contract with the Harrisburg Heat.
Harrisburg Head Coach and General Manager Pat Healey is pleased about the signing of James Vaughan.ÃÂ Healey said: "We talked to James a few years ago and it just didn't work out at the time.ÃÂ Now he is signed and is ready.ÃÂ He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and makes good decisions.ÃÂ I think he has been one of the best players in the NISA the last few years and that experience will help him with the indoor game."
Vaughan said "I am absolutely thrilled to be joining and playing for the Harrisburg Heat.ÃÂ It is such an exciting time and I cannot wait to get to know the team, start training, and begin the season.ÃÂ This is going to be a great season for us all."
