PHOENIX - The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers have signed defensive back Daquawn Brown for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.
DB Daquawn Brown (5'11", 180, Washington State University) will join the Rattlers for his rookie season in the IFL. In March of 2020, he made his professional debut as a member of the San Diego Strike Force. In that game, which came just prior to the cancellation of the 2020 IFL season, Brown dominated with a game-high 10 total tackles, four pass breakups, a tackle for a loss and an interception.
Prior to entering the IFL, Brown began his collegiate career with two years at Washington State University, totaling 132 tackles and 16 pass breakups in 25 games. The Los Angeles, California native was an All-Pac 12 honorable mention during his sophomore year with the Cougars, and he was named to 247Sports.com's True Freshman All-American second-team in 2013. Brown completed his college career at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2018.
