TheBismarck Bobcats travel for game three of the best-of-five CentralDivision Semifinals against the Alexandria Blizzard on Friday night inthe Runestone Community Center. The Bobcats, who won theCentral Division Championship for the regular season, are tied up at1-1 with the Blizzard after losing game two, 3-0.

So far the Bobcats have struggled on special teams in the playoff series against the Blizzard. The Bobcats are one for ten on the power play and have allowed three-power play goals on Alexandria's eight opportunities.

News and Notes: This past week David Bosnerwas announced as rookie goaltender of the year in the North AmericanHockey League... Also, Bosner is a finalist for the "Dave Tyler JuniorPlayer of the Year Award," which is given to an USA born player... TheBobcats have not lost two games back-to-back since December 6, 2008,losing to North Iowa on the road... The Bobcats last win streak of 11games was the second longest in franchise history (the Bobcats in 2003had a 13 game winning streak)... the Blizzard have only scored oneeven-strength goal in the series and that was an empty-net goal in gametwo.
