Battle of the North

The Tulsa Oilers (12-4-1, 25 points), who sit in first place in the Northern Conference, are set to take on the team on their heels when they face the Colorado Eagles (11-3-1, 23 points) on Tuesday night. The Oilers are an impressive 8-0-1 at home (the only CHL team without a regulation loss on home ice) and are tied with the Eagles for the most goals scored amongst teams in the North. The Eagles are an impressive 4-1-0 on the road winning each of their last three away from home allowing just four total goals during those wins. A win for the Eagles would put them in a tie with the Oilers for the conference's top spot with two fewer games played.

Like a Fine Wine

As Jeff Christian continues to add a wealth of experience to his resume, he hasn't stopped producing. The veteran Maverick recently added 500 professional goals to his list of accomplishments. The month of November was a good one for Christian as he notched a point in every game totaling 16 points (4-12=16) in nine games. He also finished the month with a +6 plus/minus rating and had seven power play points (1-6=7). For the season, Christian has six goals and 15 assists.
