PREVIEW: The Shorebirds managed just two hits as the BlueClaws secured the series win last night with a 5-2 win. The 'Birds are now 11.5 games out of first place with 21 games remaining in 2010. The Shorebirds are 3-11 in August and 4-16 in their last 20 games. The Shorebirds have scored 6 runs on 18 hits through four games of the series.

3 STRAIGHT: Mike Flacco has recorded a double in three straight games.

PARKER EXCELLING: Relief pitcher Brian Parker tossed another scoreless shutout last night (2.2 IP). He has allowed just one earned run in his last 15.1 innings pitched (five outings). His ERA has dipped from 2.95 to 1.96 during the stretch.
