
Shock players visit hospital Friday

Members of the Spokane Shock - including the team mascot SHOX the FOX - will visit Shriners Hospital for Children, 911 West 5th Ave, on Friday May 4th at 10 AM.
They will be visiting children in the recreational therapy department of the hospital.
"We have a great group of guys on our team and I know that they are anxious to put a smile on the faces of the kids they see," Director of Communications Kevin Maloney said.
Friday's visit will mark the first hospital visit in team history.
The Shock have a bye this week but will return to action on May 12th at the Spokane Arena as they host the Bakersfield Blitz. A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling TicketsWest.
