Spokane Shock News Release
The Spokane Shock announced today that DL Micah Littlejohn has been assigned to its 2007 roster by the league office; DL AJ Orlebar has been placed on the injured reserve list.
Littlejohn, 6'3" 255, comes to the Shock after finishing his career at Hampton University where he was named First Team All-MEAC as a junior. In his 34 games, Littlejohn compiled 125 tackles, 25.5 tackles for a loss, 17 sacks, four fumble recoveries and three interceptions.
After finishing his career at Hampton, Littlejohn was brought into training camp by the Tennessee Titans before being released at the end of camp.
"Littlejohn is a very athletic player and he adds some depth to our d-line that is already very talented," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said. Shackleford added that he expects Littlejohn to play in their next game.
Orlebar suffered a knee injury in last week's game against Stockton. His immediate return remains doubtful.
This weekend the Shock have a bye but will return to action on May 12th at the Spokane Arena as they host the Bakersfield Blitz. A limited number of tickets are still available for the game and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
