
Shock and Spokane Tribe of Indians Tackle Hunger

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock and the Spokane Tribe of Indians are teaming up to tackle hunger. For the home opener this weekend, canned food (non-perishable) donations are being accepted to benefit local food banks. All fans who make a donation, will receive a raffle ticket with an opportunity to win up to $300 in SpoKo fuel gas cards, courtesy of the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
"We're pleased to start off the new season with the Spokane Tribe of Indians and help out the Spokane community," Kevin Maloney, Director of Communications, said. "This community has given so much support for our team that it is our privilege and obligation to give back along with the Spokane Tribe of Indians."
Additionally, all fans in attendance for Spokane Tribe Opening Night will receive a free set of pom-poms courtesy of the Spokane Tribe of Indians and a 2008 magnet schedule courtesy of the US Army.
Tickets are still available for the game and can be purchased through TicketsWest. Season tickets are also still available and can be purchased by calling the Shock office at 242-SHOCK.
