Spokane Shock News Release
July 16, 2009-Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that OL/DL Casey Bulyca, a former University of Washington Husky, has been assigned to the 2009 roster. In another roster move, DB Jimmie Sutton was placed on Left Squad.
Bulyca, 6-6 330, finished his career as a Husky in 2008 after it was cut short by a knee injury his senior season. Before Bulyca's injury, he started 16 games for the Huskies. He will be available to play in this weekend's game against the Boise Burn.
"By adding Casey to our line we have some extra depth that we need as we make our playoff push," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said.
Kickoff against the Burn is set for Saturday night at 6 PM and can be heard on THE PEAK 105.7 with Larry Weir and Paul Sorensen. The Shock will return home to Spokane for its first-round playoff match-up against the Stockton Lightning on August 1st. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
