
Shipley To Play In Subway Super Series

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that Attack forward Steven Shipley will be participating on team OHL in the 2009 Subway Super Series in Barrie, ON. The Subway Super Series is a six game event in which regional CHL All-Star teams compete against the Russian National Junior Team in cities across Canada.
Seventeen-year-old Shipley is currently in his second season with the Attack, with 18 points in 17 games so far. He ended the 2008-2009 season with 39 points in 63 regular season games. On January, 4, 2009 the Ilderton, ON native won Gold with Team Ontario in the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in Port Alberni, BC.
The Owen Sound Attack wishes Steven and the rest of his Subway Super Series team the best of luck.
