
Sharks to Hold Open Player Tryout in Nashville

JACKSONVILLE - The 2012 South Division Champion Jacksonville Sharks announced today that the team will hold an open player tryout on Saturday, December 1 at Father Ryan High School in Nashville, Tennessee.
Players at all positions, including kickers, will be evaluated at this tryout. Registration for non-kickers will begin at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event and drills will begin promptly at 9:00. Registration for kickers is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. Father Ryan High School is located at 700 Norwood Drive in Nashville.
Players will be timed in the 40-yard dash and 20-yard short shuttle before breaking off into positional groups. At that point, Head Coach Les Moss and the Sharks coaching staff will evaluate players as they conduct positional drills and compete in one-on-one situations. The tryout will be conducted on an artificial FieldTurf surface, and players are asked to bring appropriate footwear.
All players wishing to try out must pay a $60 tryout fee. The fee for this tryout must be paid in cash. Credit cards, checks, or any other non-cash form of payment will not be accepted. All players will also be asked to complete a registration form that will be provided on the day of the tryout.
