
Sharks Team Up With The Worcester County Sheriff's Office For Second Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr has announced that the Worcester Sharks have teamed up with the Worcester County Sheriff's Office for the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive when the Worcester Sharks host the Portland Pirates on Saturday, November 17th at 7:05p.m. at the DCU Center.
All fans that donate canned food at the Worcester Sharks game on November 17th will receive a FREE voucher to a future Sharks game compliments of Price Chopper. Collected food will go directly to the Friendly House of Worcester to distribute food to needy families throughout the Worcester area.
"The Worcester Sharks are very proud to be associated with the Worcester County Sheriff's Office and the Friendly House," said Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr. "It is important for everyone to help those who are less fortunate, especially as we approach the holiday season."
The 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive starts with an event at the Price Chopper on 50 Cambridge Street in Worcester. Join Finz and members of the Worcester Sharks Office as WCRN radio and the Worcester County Sheriff's Office kick off the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

The Sharks battle the Rampage in San Antonio on Friday, November 9th at 8:00 p.m. and the Aeros in Houston on Saturday, November 8th at 8:35 p.m. Both games can be heard live on 580 WTAG, as well as online through B2 Networks, by following the link on the Sharks website at www.sharksahl.com. The Sharks return home to Worcester on Monday, November 12th to host the Springfield Falcons at 1:05 p.m. with a FREE post game skate with the team presented by Price Chopper.
