
Sharks Sign Defensive End Marquis Smith

JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that defensive end Marquis Smith has signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for his second year of arena football and first year with the Sharks.
Smith (6'3", 235) signed with the Bismarck Bucks of the Champions Indoor Football League in 2018, where he played in 13 games making 50 tackles, four sacks and five forced fumbles in during his rookie year. Prior to his pro career, he was a undrafted free agent who attended a Green Bay Packers mini camp in 2017.
Smith attended Savannah State (2013-2016) recording 18 tackles, three interceptions and one forced fumble during his college career. Robinson is a native of Walker Mill, MD and attended Lackey High School.
