Sharks Reveal Championship Ring Design

JACKSONVILLE - The ArenaBowl XXIV Champion Jacksonville Sharks revealed the design of the team's 2011 Championship Ring on Tuesday. In addition, the team announced plans to allow fans the opportunity to obtain their own version of the ring.
"It's not every year that you win a championship, and we relish the opportunity to share an item that commemorates a victory of this magnitude with our loyal fanbase," Sharks Managing Partner Jeff Bouchy said. "Without the Finatics, there would be no team... there would be no championship."
After winning their first ArenaBowl championship in the team's second year of existence, the Sharks collaborated with J. Lewis Small Company to develop the design.
The main face of the ring features "2011" and "ArenaBowl Champions" encircling the iconic Sharks logo. The shark itself stands out, sitting two millimeters higher than the rest of the ring.
On one side of the ring, the official ArenaBowl XXIV logo is displayed in a central location. Above the logo, "JAX 73 AZ 70" reflects the final score of ArenaBowl XXIV, while "17-4" marks the Sharks' combined regular-season and playoff record in 2011.
The opposite side of the ring showcases the official Sharks wordmark. It is on this section of the ring that the specific fan design comes into play. The word "Finatic" and the number nine honor the team's loyal fanbase as the "9th man" in the stands.
All 2011 and current 2012 season ticket holders have the right to purchase a Finatic ring for $695. In addition, everyone who purchases season tickets for the upcoming season will receive a polyresin desktop ring replica.
