San Antonio Talons Launch Single Game Ticket Sales for Holidays

SAN ANTONIO (December 13, 2011) - Today San Antonio's new professional football team, the San Antonio Talons, launched single game ticket sales for the 2012 inaugural season. The Talons will kick off the season on March 10, 2012 at the Alamodome. Single game tickets start as low as $12 per seat, with discounted prices available for military personnel.
The San Antonio Talons are part of the national (AFL) Arena Football League with an 18-game season lasting from March through July. The team will play nine home games, with one potential home playoff game, facing off against contenders such as Chicago, Pittsburgh, San Jose, Tampa Bay and Orlando.
"We are excited to launch our single game tickets because it widens the range of affordability for our fans, which is especially important during the holiday season," says Talons CEO and Owner Jason Lohe. "The league is new to the San Antonio market and people are eager to come out and experience the pace and intensity of the game. With the 2011 MVP quarterback, Aaron Garcia, and a roster of the league's top talent on our side, we are looking to make our inaugural season a winning one."
Single game tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster (800-745-3000), Ticketmaster.com and all corresponding retail locations including H.E.B., Fiesta, Walmart and various Air Force Bases. A full list of participating retail outlets can be found by using the Ticketmaster location finder at: http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/retaillocations.html. Tickets can also be purchased directly through the Talons and Alamodome websites. A 20 percent discount is available for men and women in the military.
Thousands of football fans have already purchased season ticket packages for the Talons, starting as low as $120 for nine home games plus one potential home playoff game.
