JACKSONVILLE - The 2019 National Arena League champion Jacksonville Sharks announced today the signing of wide receiver & kick returner Prince Shonola. This will be his second year of arena football and first with the Sharks.
Prince Shonola (5'8", 172) spent his rookie season with the Carolina Cobras during the 2019 season where he played wide receiver and kick returner. In 2019, he played in four games, caught 3 passes for 45 yards and two touchdowns. On special teams, he returned six kicks for 123 yards and led the Cobras in average yards per return (20.5).
In college, Shonola played for Rocky Mountain College from 2016-2018. He also played for Fullerton Junior College after graduating high school. Shonola is a native of Orlando, FL, where he attended Cypress Creek High School.
