JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks (6-4) host the Maine Mammoths (2-7) for the second time this season this Saturday, June 23 at 7:00 (E.T.). This will be the third overall meeting between the two teams, as the Mammoths hosted the Sharks in Week Five, a game in which the Sharks won 48-31 to start their five-game win streak. The second game between the two was shortly after, in Week Seven in Jacksonville. The Sharks ended up winning that game 46-25. This week's game is Halloween in June, so be prepared to be spooked out during the course of the game.

The first time the Mammoths and the Sharks met, Sharks Quarterback Adrian McPherson was 21-of-29 for 215 yards and threw three touchdowns. Wide Receiver Tom Gilson lead the team in receptions and yards with eight catches for 88 yards and one touchdown. Chris Gilchrist had four receptions for 66 yards and one touchdown. The second time the Sharks faced the Mammoths, McPherson was 11-of-22 for 176 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions. Gilson saw two receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown. Gilchrist lead the team in all of the receiving stats with six catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns. That game, the defense recorded three sacks, four pass breakups, one interception, and two fumble recoveries. One of the fumbles recovered was returned for a touchdown, as Defensive Back Brandon Roe returned a 39-yard fumble recovery to the house.

Two weeks ago in Carolina versus the Cobras, the Sharks got beat on all sides of the field in a 33-73 loss. That game, McPherson and Patrick McCain played quarterback. Together, they combined 18 completions on 45 attempts for 203 yards, three touchdowns, and four interceptions. Gilchrist did his job to make sure the Sharks could come with a victory, having four receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns. The leader in receptions was Cody Saul with seven, for 61 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, the Sharks didn't have the game they were hoping for. Defensive Back Marvin Ross came up with two interceptions, and Roe had one fumble recovery.

If this Sharks continue their undefeated streak against the Maine Mammoths this Saturday the Sharks will reach their 100th win in franchise history. This weekend's game will be at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday at 7:00 pm (ET). The game will be streamed on Youtube Live, a link to the stream will be posted on www.facebook.com/jaxsharks
