PORTLAND - The Maine Mammoths (2-7) travel to Jacksonville, Florida for the second time to take on the Jacksonville Sharks (6-4). This is the second meeting in Jacksonville, and third overall. The first two games didn't go as planned for Maine, but they have improved since those two games.

The first time these two teams played each other, the Mammoths hosted the Sharks. Mammoths Quarterback Jonathan Bane was 16-of-34 for 163 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Wide Receiver Devin Wilson was the star of the show, jumping over walls and finding a wide open gap on many occasions, which ultimately helped him make five catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Edgar Poe Jr. had three receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown that game. In the second game between the two, Bane was 23-of-41 for 163 yards again, three touchdowns, and one interception, just like the first game against the Sharks. Wilson had a slower game than normal, due to an injury right before halftime, but fought through it and recorded five receptions for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Poe Jr. stood out against the Sharks secondary, snagging 11 catches for 61 yards and one touchdown.

Last week against the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, the Mammoths looked unstoppable. Bane had an incredible game in which he threw for a season-high five touchdowns. He was 15-of-22 for 218 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Wilson was the star of the show, hauling in eight catches for 142 yards and all five of Bane's touchdowns. Wide Receiver Robert Brown Jr. made five catches for 63 yards. He also recovered a fumble on defense and recovered the opening kickoff deep into the Steelhawks territory, making it easier to score. Fullback Desmond Maxwell rushed two times for three yards and one touchdown. Along with Brown Jr., he played defense and recovered two fumbles. Lastly, Jackson Dallas came late in the game to score a touchdown from a yard out.

Saturday's game will be shown on YouTube Live and will be posted on the team's social media pages. That will provide all the information on how to watch the game live on your phone or your computer.

The next Mammoths game is on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 7:00 pm (ET) at the Cross-Insurance Arena as they host the number one Carolina Cobras (7-2) for Military Appreciation Night.
