Mammoths Rob Brown Earns Second Team All-NAL Honors

PORTLAND- Yesterday, the NAL released the First and Second Team All-NAL Defense awards, two Mammoths earned Second Team All-NAL honors and now today a third Mammoths earns his spot on the 2018 All-NAL Team this time for offense. The National Arena League announced today that Mammoths Rob Brown earned Second Team All-NAL honors as a kick returner.

Second Team All-NAL

Rob Brown, Kick Returner: Brown started the season with the Jacksonville Sharks before signing with the Maine Mammoths. He is a defensive back, but also played a big part of the kickoff return game for the Mammoths. This year with the Mammoths, Brown returned eight kickoffs for 138 yards, which is an average of 16.88 yards per return. As a defensive back, Brown totaled 48 tackles, four interceptions for 47 yards, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery for 38 yards.

The league has concluded it's 2018 All-NAL Honors but will announce more league awards on Sunday, August 26th at the National Arena League Award Banquet at the Greensboro Coliseum at 7pm in Greensboro, NC. These awards will include the league MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and many other league awards.
