
Sharks Host "Think Green Skate With The Sharks" At Landry Arena In Fitchburg, MA

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Sharks will be holding their second "Skate with the Sharks" presented in part by Waste Management and Oggie Hockey Stick Grips on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 5:20 - 7:30p.m. at Landry Arena in Fitchburg, MA. The event is the second of four "Skate with the Sharks" during the 2007-08 hockey season and is open to all Sharks fans.
The Sharks will hold a team practice from approximately 5:20-6:20p.m. Following practice, fans will have the opportunity to skate with the team and FINZ from 6:30-7:30p.m. During that time, fans of all ages can also receive autographs, take photos and get to know the Worcester Sharks players. During the two hour session, members from the Sharks staff will be holding a raffle to win some great Sharks prizes. Sharks Merchandise will also be available to get ready you ready for Sharks action all season long!
"Think Green" Skate with the Sharks presented in part by Waste Management and Oggie Hockey Stick Grips is free to attend and open for all Sharks fans to participate. A free Sharks ticket voucher will be given to all children 12 and under compliments of Waste Management. Helmets are required.
The Sharks travel to Hartford on Friday, November 2nd. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and can be heard live on 580 WTAG, as well as online through B2 Networks, by following the link on the Sharks website, at www.sharksahl.com. The Sharks return home to Worcester on Saturday to host the Philadelphia Phantoms. Game time is at 7:05 p.m. on "Fear Factor Night" with the first 3,000 fans to receive a Patrick Traverse Authentic Autographed Collectors Card. As with every Saturday Night, Sharks players will be signing autographs as part of "Saturday Night Signings" and college students can enjoy discounted tickets with a valid college ID.
