Corpus Christi Sharks News Release
Corpus Christi Sharks Vice President & General Manager, Larry Linde announced today that the Arena Football team has added Monica's Fine Jewelry as a presenting sponsor for Ladies / Breast Cancer Awareness Night this Saturday. As a presenting sponsor Monica's Fine Jewelry will provide a diamond to the first 1,000 women through the doors on Saturday night.
The Promotion: Diamond Giveaway - the first 1,000 women (18 years and older) through the doors will receive a diamond courtesy of Monica's Fine Jewelry. One lucky Grand Prize winner will receive a 1/3 carat; round cut DIAMOND valued at over $1,200 - the other 999 will receive a cubic zirconium. Stop by Monica's Fine Jewelry located at 408 N. Chaparral Street in downtown Corpus Christi to view the diamond and again on Monday May 12, 2008 to examine your stone to find out if you're the Grand Prize Winner!

This year Ladies Night will be particularly special - not only will it be held the day before Mother's Day, but the Sharks will also be raising money to support Breast Cancer Awareness. A percentage of ticket sales from the event will be donated to two familiar breast cancer organizations, First Friday and the Susan G. Komen Foundation (on behalf of Corpus Christi Cancer Center).
Sharks players will also participate in raising Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing a special pink jersey during the game. Following the game, the jerseys will be autographed and auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the two charities. The game will be played with special footballs highlighted with pink.
Rules: Must be one of the first 1,000 women (18+) through the doors with a valid May 10th, 2008 game ticket. Limit (1) per person. The Diamond has no cash value and can not be returned to Monica's Fine Jewelry for a cash refund. Does not include setting.
