4.4.07 - Manchester 5 - Worcester
In a game featuring a potential playoff matchup, the Worcester Sharks battled hard to a big 4-1 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday night at the DCU Center. For the second straight time and third time this season, Team Teal chased Pack netminder Al Montoya out of the game after allowing three goals on 14 shots. Worcester received balanced scoring from Riley Armstrong, Grant Stevenson, Mike Iggulden and Graham Mink while rookie goalie Thomas Greiss was unbelievable with 51 saves.
4.6.07 - Worcester 4 - Hartford 1
The Manchester Monarchs scored opportunistic goals at all the right times to snap the Worcester Sharks seven-game winning streak by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday night at the DCU Center. Monarchs' netminder Jason LaBarbera turned in a solid performance with 35 saves for his 37th win of the season.
4.7.07 - Worcester 7 - Binghamton 6 OT
Good teams find ways to win and that's exactly what the Worcester Sharks did on Saturday night against the Binghamton Senators. The mighty Sharks found themselves battling back deficits all night until defenseman Garrett Stafford tied the game at 6-6 to force overtime. In the extra session, Graham Mink became the hero just 1:39 into it to steal the second point and give Worcester a 7-6 victory.

The Worcester Sharks are inching closer to clinching a playoff spot in their first season in Worcester. They are currently own third place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 39-26-3-8 and 89 points. Both Providence and Lowell trail with 88 and 85 points, respectively. As of today, the Sharks need five points to clinch a playoff berth in the Atlantic Division.
Nice Greiss...
Goaltender Thomas Greiss turned aside a season-high and career high 51-of-52 shots on Friday night against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The rookie made 21 stops in the first, 15 in the second and 15 in the third period. Greiss is currently 25-14-2 with a GAA of 2.61 and a save percentage of .911.
First Impressions...
Sharks forward Torrey Mitchell has been strong for the Sharks in his first seven games. The product of the University of Vermont recorded his second career multi-point night on Saturday with a goal and two assist effort in the Sharks 7-6 win over Binghamton. Mitchell now has two goals and four assists for six points and a plus-six rating.

- Worcester forward Tom Cavanagh is riding a seven-game point streak with nine points (1+8=9) in that span. The Rhode Island native also points in 11 of the last 12 games with four goals and 11 assists for 15 points.
- Graham Mink is on a seven-game point streak. The Stowe, Vermont native has scored 11 points (7+4=11) in seven games. Mink also leads all scorers in the AHL since January 1, 2007 with 25 goals. He is just one goal shy of hitting the 29-goal plateau.
- Forward Mike Iggulden has six points (4+2=6) in his last four games. He has registered a point in of those games including a hat trick on Saturday, March 31 against the Houston Aeros.
