April 9, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League announced today that Hartford Wolf Pack center Jarkko Immonen has been named the CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending April 8, 2007. Immonen found the scoresheet in each of his four games last week, totaling four goals and three assists for seven points as Hartford clinched a Calder Cup Playoff berth for the 10th consecutive year.
Immonen began the week with two assists as the Wolf Pack posted a 7-4 win over Portland on Wednesday night, ending the Pirates' five-game winning streak. He assisted on Hartford's only goal in a 4-1 loss at Worcester on Friday, then scored in the Pack's 4-3 shootout defeat to Springfield on Saturday.
