JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks have announced the schedule of Theme Nights and promotions for the upcoming 2016 season. The Sharks have a variety of creative themes designed to create the ultimate fan experience at Sea Best Field. In addition, the team will incorporate a number of Appreciation Nights and other initiatives to directly benefit the Jacksonville community. Familiar fan favorites from seasons past join new electrifying theme nights making 2016 the year for fans to remember.

The Sharks' home schedule opens Monday, April 18th against the Orlando Predators. This Monday Night Football game will kick off the season with country-crazed "Redneck Night". With the rival Predators in attendance, the Sharks will raise the 2015 American Conference Championship banner. The return of Redneck Night encourages fans to style their mullets and dress down into their favorite camo and overalls during this fun-filled ode to Cowford's finest.

On Saturday, April 23rd, the Arizona Rattlers make their way to the Shark Tank for the first ever British Invasion Night. Sharks Fans will enjoy a smashing evening filled with the sights and sounds of the legendary British rock era featuring the Beatlemaniax.

On Saturday, May 21st, the Sharks will humbly honor and uphold the sacrifices made by the men and women who have and continue to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces on Military Appreciation Night, against the Portland Thunder. The Sharks proudly reserve this night as a platform to generate donations to the Veteran Tickets Foundation via military themed jersey auction and military attack dance team poster sales and other military-themed merchandise. Additionally, all military personnel and their families will receive a BOGO ticket offer.

After a quick road trip, the team returns to Sea Best Field on June 4th for Superhero Night as the team takes on the Philadelphia Soul. Kids and adults alike will enjoy dressing up as their favorite superhero or villain as they witness the Sharks battle for home field supremacy. We will welcome the return of Disc-Connected K9's to Sea Best field. Also on this night, the Sharks will recognize all teachers, administrators and school employees in celebration of Education Appreciation with a BOGO ticket offer. Elementary school children will also receive a free ticket with the purchase of a paying adult. (Maximum of 2 free kids tickets per 1 paying adult).

The Predators make their way back to the Shark Tank on June 18th for their second appearance, as we bring back a fan favorite, Halloween in June. Come dressed in your favorite costume as we team up with our friends at The Scream Park, who will have plenty of spooky surprises in store. A haunted house will be erected on the concourse for your enjoyment or demise. For those who would prefer to not have a chill run up their spine during this thrilling night, there will be an established "no-scare" zone.

Calling all whom the force awakens! Mark your calendars for the return of Star Wars night as we face the Cleveland Gladiators on June 25th. Members of the 501st Legion will be in attendance, so grab your cameras and join the Dark Side. The first 1,000 kids in attendance (12 years and under) will receive their own Jedi Lightsaber. The Jacksonville Sharks Youth Football Camp will be held during the afternoon before the June 25th game. The

camp is open for boys and girls ages 6-16 who want to learn the fundamentals of the game from Shark players and coaches.

It's Christmas in July as we take on the Los Angeles KISS on Saturday, July 23rd. It's never too early to be in the Christmas spirit. Expect a guest appearance from Santa & Mrs. Claus and a performance from the Jr. Attack Dance Team as they spread holiday cheer to all in attendance during the middle of summer.

The 2016 regular season closes with 70's/Disco Night on July 31st against the Tampa Bay Storm. We will move and groove to the rhythm of not only a winning decade, but a winning season. The Sharks will be playing that funky music and "Won't Stop 'til You Get Enough". Bringing back Bell bottoms, paisley print and platform shoes, fans will enjoy a memorable last game of the regular season. Get down with Jacksonville's very own Boogie Freaks as they perform at halftime and the post-game autograph session.
